How to get into Bits Dubai ?

Getting into Bits Dubai is not hard as getting an admission in one of the campuses of BITS in India which are at Pilani, hyderabad and Goa. We just need to get a total aggregate of 60 % marks in physics, chemistry, maths or physics, chemistry, biology.

So, note this :-

First Thing to DO :- Targeting for more than 60 % aggregate in phy, che, maths or phy, che, bio.

Proficiency in English language is a must if you want to get into BITS Dubai - yes, this is an eligibility criteria for getting admission in BITS Dubai. Well you can do one of the below things :-

Second thing to DO :-

---> Get a TOEFL Score of 500 in paper based test
OR
---->Get a TOEFL Score of 61 in internet based test
OR
----> an IELTS Score of at least 5.

It's better to go for spoken English coaching near by your locality after your board exams are over and you are free. After the exams there is a 2-3 months gap right ? Go for the coaching at this time. Select that institute which allows you to take the test as well.

These are some of the things that you should keep in mind if you are preparing to get into BITS Dubai.

All the Best ma friends ....

  2. Its not about just physics, chemistry and maths. They will be considering the aggregate % of all the subjects of 12th. If you have 5 subjects ie, English, maths, physics, chemistry and computer science, and you score 400 out off 500, then your aggregate % is 80.
    Hope you understood.

  5. @eeshpaul, with 80%, I think you can get there. But not sure about it. Also it won't be easy to get CSE! But if you are a GCC candidate, then there is much higher chance to get your favorite branch there.

@Shivang, for getting admission to Bits Dubai, there is no need of writing any entrance exam. BITSAT is for the Indian Bits Pilani campuses and not for the Dubai campus. With 85 % you can even get CSE - yup there is high chance - but still, I think cut off gonna increase this year ...So watch out !!!

  9. Hi, Lots of questions for you,

I am expecting about 75 to 80 % in CBSE. I am staying in Delhi. What are my chances of admission in Mech?
Can I improve my chances by taking a Family Status Residence visa for my parents from RAK for 3.5 Lacs.
The admission dates are last amongst all colleges and that has made me jittery about getting into BPD. Can the college give admission if I go to BPD office 1 month before the scheduled dates and pay the full fees? That way I will not waste my time and money in VIT or Manipal.

Last question..Is the Hostel within the campus? If so, how does one get out to the city in the evenings for freshup / recharge. How do the Hostel guys cope with boredom.

Will be grateful if you reply at cyrus@indboilers.com
